• Located on the campus of Belmont University, it was constructed in the mid-1800s by Adelicia Hayes Franklin.
• The architect who designed it, William Strickland, also designed the Tennessee State Capitol.
• It was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 1971, and is the largest house museum in the entire state.
